4Racing have advised that the race meeting scheduled for Turffontein today after being moved from Sunday, has been moved to the Vaal Classic Track.
Following an additional 12.5mm of rainfall overnight, gallops were conducted at Turffontein Racecourse.
It was unanimously agreed that the track is not suitable for racing.
In contrast, the Vaal Classic Track has experienced significantly less rainfall over the past seven days, and the current pen reading is 22: Good, which is ideal for racing.
While the weather forecast is not optimal, they advise that they will make every effort to proceed with the meeting as planned.
Distance Changes:
- Races 1 and 2: 1200m
- Races 7 and 8: 1450m
All other race distances remain unchanged.
