Turffontein Today

First off at 13h00

This afternoon’s Turffontein inside track meeting could well be impacted upon by the weather again, with a 52% chance of thunderstorms forecast.

The last two races at the Vaal on Saturday were lost and owners and trainers will be hoping to get through today’s card. Interestingly, for those looking for an omen, Donderweer is running in the final race at 17h25.

Has some nice runners today – Paul Peter (Pic – JC Photos)

The first of eight races is off at 13h00 – it is also the Bipot opener.

Sherman Brown is medically indisposed and will not be riding.

The false rail is set at 2m on the back straight to 5m on the bend, with a 5m spur at the 500m
