Turffontein – Brett’s Place In The Sun?

First due off at 12h15

Nine races are carded on the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h15.

Princess Lola from the Roy Magner stable takes her place in Race 2. She showed good improvement when second in her last start over 1200m at the Vaal.

She raced from just off the pace but found one too good in the form of Southern Style. The daughter of Royal Mo will love the rise to 1450m, and she should have more to come.

From her good draw of four, she should be the one to beat.

Trainer Brett Crawford sends out A Place In The Sun in Race 9.

She ran on from far back when third in her last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course.

She has cracked a good draw of two and takes a slight drop-in class.

If not too far out of her ground turning for home, she should give the males a run for their money.
