Sales Recordbreaker Returns Today

First off at 12h00

Mike de Kock’s 2017 National Yearling Sale recordbreaker Ghaalla, bought for R5 million by Form Bloodstock for Shadwell SA, steps out in the blue and white of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum at Turffontein today in her first outing as a 3yo.

The daughter of Var, runner-up to Ronnie’s Candy in the SA Fillies Nursery, has been rested for over 3 months and is said to be working well but likely to need the run when she runs in the eighth race.

Gavin Lerena pushes Ghaalla out to beat Celtic Sea on her debut
