Back On The Classic Track

Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth race at 14h40

Racing is at the Vaal this afternoon and nine races are scheduled on the Classic track.

Both Lyle Hewitson and S’manga Khumalo have a decent book of rides today and could be the jockey’s to follow.

The first race is due off at 12h35.

Candice Dawson saddles All Aglow in race 1 today.

Jimmy The Rich writes Hollywoodbets-Sponsored trainer Candice Dawson sends out All Aglow in Race 1. She showed very good improvement in her last start over 1160m at Turffontein.

She lost a length at the start and despite hanging in the latter stages, she stayed on nicely.

It must be noted that the horse that finished ninth that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Dynasty will love the step up to the mile and should win in this type of field.

Royal Lily from the Dorrie Sham stable represents some decent each way value in the lucky last.

She showed good signs of a form return in her last start over 1500m on this course. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

She takes a slight drop in class this afternoon and with a bit of luck in running, she can get back to winning ways.

Jeffrey Syster will not be riding as he is medically indisposed.

The false rail is zero on the back straight to 9m on the bend, with a 9m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second at 13h05
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third at 13h35
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 14h05
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth race at 14h40
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the sixth race at 15h15

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
