Lyle Hewitson who is currently leading the South African Jockeys Championship has ridden 130 winners this season at a strike rate of 15.1% has seven rides on the card. He has a good chance of adding to his tally and increasing his lead.

Corne Spies saddles Attentive today in race 5.

Attentive from the Corne Spies takes his place in Race 5. He looked a winner in his last start over this course and distance, but was caught in the shadow of the post.
