The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 14h10

After a successful meeting at Turffontein on Saturday, racing is at the Vaal today  for a nine-race programme.

The first race is due off at 12h35 and the lucky last is set of 17h10.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Paisley Park from the Sean Tarry stable is the best bet on the card. He won a good race when winning the Listed Secretariat Stakes last time.

He raced from a handy position that day and fought hard all the way to the line.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight looks to be above average and should keep his unbeaten record intact.

Paul Matchett sends out See You Tyger in Race 6. Her last two starts against stronger have been decent.

The manner in which she finished off both those outings were encouraging.

S’manga Khumalo returns from a short injury enforced break and retains the ride. If not too far out of their ground in the early stages, the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

The inside false rail is at zero from the 1600m mark to the pull up area. The outside false rail is 8m in from the 1600m t0 400m mark with an 8m spur at the 400m mark.
