Jimmy The Rich writes that Laird Of Breedon from the yard of Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Corne Spies lines up in Race 7.

He was far from disgraced when finishing fifth in the Grade 1 Premiers Champion Stakes last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since.

The son of Crusade is the best weighted runner in this contest and should take a power of beating.

Weiho Marwing saddles Valencia in the last race and he represents some good value. His last two starts have been fair.

He finished 3,5 lengths behind Timeforthat in his penultimate start and is 4kgs better off at the weights today. That should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He gets the blinkers re-fitted this afternoon which should keep his mind on the task at hand. Craig Zackey retains the ride and the pair should be among the main chances.

The false rail is at zero on the back straight and bend with a 2m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h05
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h40
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h15

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
