Jimmy The Rich writes that the powerful Sean Tarry yard send out Magical Flight in Race 5 and in-form Lyle Hewitson steps into the saddle.

Her last three starts have been good. She showed good speed last time, but found one too good in the form of Run April Run. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The daughter of Willow Magic steps back up to the mile and in this type of field, she should take a power of beating.

Iced Tea in the last race looks to be the best value. She showed very good improvement when having her own way in front last time.

She found one too good in the form of Euphoriant that day, but stayed on well at the finish.

Winning Form sponsored Apprentice Jeffrey Syster takes the 1.5kgs off her back today and from her good draw of two, she may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Iced Tea will wear a compression mask for today’s racing.

The false rail is 1,5m on the back straight to 3,5m on the bend. There is a 3,5m spur at the 700m mark.

  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h55
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h30
