Kenilworth Today – Spring Is In The Air!

The first is off at 13h10

Another action-packed card kicks off in the Mother City at Kenilworth today with a host of competitive racing on offer.

The first race on the card starts at 13h10 and the lucky last will close off proceedings at 17h20.

Bobby Bean writes that the Candice-Bass Robinson stable send out Springisintheair who competes in Race 5.

The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade has performed fairly well in her last two starts over 1400m. It must be noted that the form of her last run has been franked.

She rises in class but will only to have to shoulder a light weight of 50kgs in this contest.

Her capable apprentice rides well from the front and there doesn’t look to be much pace in the race barring Vomandla.

The Justin Snaith camp send out Really Royal who participates in Race 6. This colossal daughter of Captain Al was beaten by the narrowest of margins last time out.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The step up to the mile should allow her to utilise her beautiful action effectively and despite the slight rise in class, she should take an absolute power of beating.

The false rail is set on the winter course at 3m out from the 1700m with a 4m spur at the 470m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h10
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h45
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h20
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h55
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h30

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
