Jimmy The Rich writes that Candice Bass-Robinson saddles Forries Forever in Race 2 and she is the best bet on the card.

She produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1000m on this course. She lost two lengths at the start, raced green but the manner in which she finished off her race was impressive.

The daughter of Dynasty would have gained from the experience and should love the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Snow Report represents some decent each way value in Race 6. He ran a fair race when travelling to the Eastern Cape last time.

He returns from an 11-week break today, which may have done him the world of good.

He has won twice from four starts over this course and distance. He is likely to race up with the pace and should fight out the finish.

The winter course false rail is 4m out from the 1700m mark with a 2m spur at the 470m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h45
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h20
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h55
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h35
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h15
