Tony’s Beauty A Possible Banker Today

The first is due off at 12h00.

Bavarian Beauty – returns from a break but is the class act (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Bavarian Beauty from the Tony Peter stable takes her place in Race 8 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She won a game race in the Gr1 Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes last time.

She raced from a handy position, quickened up well and kept finding all the way to the line. She returns from a 15- week break, during which time she would have strengthened up.

She is the class horse in the race and with Piere Strydom in the saddle, she should take a power of beating.

Trainer Paul Matchett sends out Juliet Tango in the Listed Summer Pudding Handicap. Her last two starts have been good.

She took the lead at the 200m mark last time but was outrun late by Silent War. She finished 0.05 lengths behind River Queraress in her penultimate run.

She is 1kg better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is in a good space and can notch up her third career victory.

Jockey Richard Fourie will not be riding today.
