Today – The Sporting Post-Sponsored Jocks Have Their Say

Thoughts and opinions

Sporting Post-sponsored jockeys share their thoughts and opinions – here’s what they have to say about the mounts they will be riding today at Hollywoodbets Greyville:

Kaidan Brewer

Race 4: MADISON VALLEY (3) – He won well last time. He jumps from a good draw, carries a light weight and should be competitive.

Race 6: SUNSET RIOT (8) – He is taking on a very competitive field but should hold his own. He has been working well back at home.

Tristan Godden

Race 2: ROMANCE IN ROME (12) – He ran a good race over shorter last time and the 1400m will be better for him. However, he has it all to do from a difficult draw of 12.

Race 3: ROCKIE REEF (15) – Her last run over shorter was encouraging but she may find it harder in this sort of company.

Race 4: DOWN TO BUSINESS (16) – He won a great race last time out and has improved at home. I think he will be in with a chance.

Race 5: JUST RECKLESS (8) – She was a difficult ride last time out. If all goes to plan for her, I think she will be competitive.

Race 9: QUASIFORSURE (11) – Ignore his last run. He seems to enjoy Hollywoodbets Greyville and I am hoping for a competitive run.

Race 10: NARINA TROGON (13) – He has done nothing wrong as of now and if overcoming the draw, he will be in with a chance.

Race 11: REEFWAY (3) – Her last two runs have been disappointing, and I am hoping for improvement.

Athandiwe Mgudlwa

Race 1: KISSHOTEN (11) – No comment.

Race 2: IBUTHO (5) – He is very good on the polytrack, drawn nicely and enjoys 1400m. He must be respected.

Race 7: MERIDIUS (13) – No comment.

Race 10: NOBLE CITY (4) – He bounced back to form last week and must have a big chance again.

Race 12: QUANDARY (11) – No comment.

Sean Veale

Race 3: PONTE PIETRA (4) – He is working well and if he settles, he will be a big runner.

Race 5: YOU BRING ME JOY (9) – She must improve on her last run.

Race 6: CATS PAJAMAS (3) – He is working well, and I am expecting a nice run.

Race 9: CRUISE CONTROL (5) – If reproducing his last run, he will just about win the race.

Race 11: BALTIC SECRET (12) – She is working well but has got to beat the wide draw.

Race 12: YAMADORI (12) – Big runner.
