Tide Can Turn For Bass-Robinson Yard Today

First due off @ 12h00

Hollywoodbets Durbanville will race alongside the Turffontein Inside racemeeting this afternoon.

A ten-race programme has been carded with the first due off at 12h00.

Trainer Candice Bass-Robinson saddles eleven runners on today’s card, three of which will be ridden by regular stable heavyweight jockey, Aldo Domeyer.

Domeyer enjoys a healthy 17,2 % win strike-rate this season so far with 10 winners, while the Bass-Robinson yard will be keen to raise their 7,6% win strike-rate as the season ups the ante.

They could get the momentum going today as the duo combine in the first three races on the card, with winning chances.

Major Master from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable takes his place in Race 1.

He produced a promising debut effort over 1250m on this course.

He was green in running, but the way he finished off his race was eye-catching. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since.

The son of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and should love the extra distance on offer.

With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

Another big runner, trainer Candice Bass-Robinson sends out Heliotrope in Race 6.

Her last three starts have been decent.

She lost a length leaving the start last time but stayed on to finish third. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The daughter of Rafeef is back against her own sex and from her good draw of two, she can notch up her second- career victory.
