The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h40

Golden Spoon from the Mike de Kock stable is the best bet on the card. She produced a promising debut effort over 1000m at Turffontein, two weeks ago.

The manner in which she finished off her race caught the eye. The daughter of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and will enjoy the extra furlong on offer.

With the natural progression that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Sean Tarry sends out Track Commander in the last race on the programme. He showed good improvement in his last start over a mile at Turffontein.

He lost a length at the start that day, but stayed on well at the business end. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will be at home over 2000m and should improve to win here.

The inside false rail is at zero on the back straight and bend with a 2m spur at the 800m mark. The outside false rail is 8m in from the 1200m to 400m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h25
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 14h00
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h40
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 15h15
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h45
