Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Candice Dawson saddles Royal Escapade in Race 7. He showed good signs of a form return over 1600m on the Classic course last time.

He raced from a handy position that day and tried hard all the way to the line.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight should strip much fitter today and from his good draw of three, he should go one better.

Please note that Jeffrey Syster rode his 60th winner and will no longer claim an allowance.

Jarryd Penny will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.

The false rail is at zero on the back straight and bend with a 2,5m spur at the 600m mark.
