Fasinada Can Follow Up Today

The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h25

Turffontein plays host to a nine-race programme on the Inside course this afternoon.

The partnership of Johan Janse van Vuuren and Gavin Lerena has some decent chances of winning in the earlier races and must be followed.

The first race is due off at 12h05.

Jimmy The Rich writes that About To Storm takes his place in Race 4 and he looks to be the best bet on the card. He has produced two very good efforts to date.

He stayed on strongly when finishing third over this course and distance last time.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight looks to be a progressive type and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle, he can shed his maiden tag.

Brett Webber saddles Fasinada in Race 8. She was ultra-impressive when winning her last start, despite fly jumping out the gates.

She has won twice, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance.

She meets a similar type of field this afternoon and can follow up.

The false rail is at 3.5m on the back straight and bend with a 3.5m spur at the 500m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h45
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h25
  • The second Jackpot starts in the sixth race at 15h00
