Three Past Winners A July Record?

Hollywoodbets Durban July - 2 July 2022

The 2022 renewal of the R5 million Gr1 Hollywoodbets Durban July includes three past winners. Is this a record in itself?

Marlon Sing writes in the Sporting Post Mailbag that he would like to know from the horse racing public if this is the first ever Durban July that we have 3 previous winners of this prestigious race running?

  • DO IT AGAIN (2018/2019)
  • BELGARION (2020)
  • KOMMETDIEDING (2021)

I stand to be corrected but are we in KZN going to get another stat to our already full history books for this year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July?
