Local horseracing hosts a double header today.

Richard Fourie retains the ride on Official Secret today in Race 4 (Pic – Pauline Herman)

Trainer Alan Greeff sends out Official Secret in Race 4. She was an easy winner of her last start in the Betway Wedgewood Handicap.

The 6yo mare is the stable elect with Richard Fourie retaining the ride.

With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of nine, she can follow up with another victory. Jockey Richard Fourie retains the ride.

Champonelle from the Cliffie Miller stable takes his place in Race 2. He has been disappointing in his last two starts in the Western Cape and he is having his first run for the yard.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since.

He gets the blinkers fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. If suited to the polytrack, he should return to best form.
