The Eagle Is Cleared For Landing In The Capital

First due off @ 12h25

We head over to Hollywoodbets Scottsville for this afternoon’s eight-race programme.

The main event of the day is the Non-Black Type River Indigo Handicap.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h25.

Cape Eagle – looks a decent bet under Richard Fourie today (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Cape Eagle from the Andre Nel stable takes his place in Race 2 and he is the best bet on the programme.

He ran a good race when second behind See It Again over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He won his only attempt over this course and distance.

Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Duncan Howells saddles Irish Luck in Race 4. He had no luck in running when having to overcome barrier 10 in his last start over 1400m on this course.

His penultimate run when second over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville catches the eye.

He will love the rise to the mile and should be at peak fitness.

Sean Veale does duty and with luck in running, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
