Thandi’s Got The Vibe Today

The first is due off at 12h40

Racing is back on the turf course at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and eight races are carded.

After rain in the region, the going is officially posted as ‘soft’, and this could change the form study dynamics.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge with the first due off at 12h40.

Vibe SA from the Gareth van Zyl stable should give punters a good start to the day. He will be ridden by Sporting Post-sponsored rider, Athandiwe Mgudlwa.

He fought hard all the way to the line in his last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville but was touched off by Kaygee’s Delight.

His penultimate run when second over this distance on the polytrack was eye-catching. He jumps from a good draw of three and can shed his maiden tag in this field.

Trainer Tony Rivalland saddles Princess Ozma in Race 6. She ran a fair race against male company in her last start on the polytrack. She finished 3.25 lengths behind Fashionigma in her penultimate run.

She is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

This is her peak run and from her handy draw of four, she can return to winning ways.

Please note that Smanga Khumalo and Gavin Lerena will not be riding today.
