The good looking Caesour 9yo Tevez bowed out of a distinguished track career on Saturday with the Diadem being his last run.
Mike Bass and daughter Candice Bass-Robinson trained the Avontuur-bred soldier who had his first start at Kenilworth seven years ago.
He won two of his first three starts, including the Sophomore Sprint.
He ran his first Diadem in 2013 and peaked with a terrific double in the Merchants of 2013/14. The well related gelding retires with 9 wins and 22 places from 54 starts for stakes of R1 595 675.
