I notice that no-one from Tellytrack or Phumelela has responded to me or acknowledged my letter (Time To Pull Up The Socks, dated mid-March 2014). At least the daily newspapers published the letter, writes reader Michael Jacobs.
This goes exactly to the heart of my letter. The racing industry does not give a toss about its customers. They don’t care about the daily/weekly tote players that keep this industry going. That is why racing is contracting in SA and is no longer relevant. Eventually this game will die and it will be well-deserved because of the apathy, indifference and poor customer service of the operators and other stakeholders.
Good luck (you need it)
