A total of nine have been declared for the 2000m contest

The final race in Europe’s most valuable sales race series, the £1.3 million Tattersalls Millions, takes place this Thursday, 14 April, at The Craven Meeting, Newmarket, with the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions 3YO Trophy.

A total of nine have been declared for the 2000m contest, including LANDOFHOPEANDGLORY, trained by Aidan OBrien, who holds entries for both The Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas and The Investec Derby.

Aidan OBrien commented:”He is in good form and is ready to start. We think the trip should be no problem and he’ll probably get a bit further in time.”

Other notable runners include, NINETTA, trained by Ann Duffield, who was third in the £300,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Fillies’ Trophy at Newmarkets Rowley Mile Racecourse last October and BRAVE HERO, trained by Saeed bin Suroor, who won last time out and holds entries for the QIPCO 2,000 Guineas Stakes, The Betfred Dante Stakes and The Investec Derby.

Saeed bin Suroor commented ‘Brave Hero is in good form and is fit enough to do himself justice. The ground is a bit of an unknown but I have been pleased with him during the winter and leading up to the race and we hope he will run well.

HARLEQUEEN, LINGUISTIC, RIDETHELIGHTNING, SIMPLY ME, BIODYNAMIC and CAPE SPEED complete the field for the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions 3YO Trophy

The Tattersalls Millions race series will conclude on Thursday with the running of the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions 3YO Trophy at Newmarkets Rowley Mile Racecourse. Book 1 of the 2016 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale will take place October 4 6 and will feature the only yearlings eligible for the £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus which offers a £25,000 bonus to any October Book 1 graduate who wins a qualifying 2YO maiden or novice race in Great Britain or an Open 2YO Maiden in Ireland.
