Tarry’s Silver To Shine Today

The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h40

Racing is on the Turffontein Inside course today with ten races carded.

The first is due off at 12h10 with the lucky last set for 17h25.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out Panning Silver in Race 1 and she should give punters a good start to the day.

She produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on this course. She understandably raced green, but the way she finished off her race was encouraging.

The daughter of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1450m. She jumps from pole position and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat.

Towers Of Gold from the Paul Matchett stable takes his place in Race 6. He is better than his last start over this distance on the Standside course.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won once and finished third twice from as many starts on this course. The son of Gimmethegreenlight drops back in class and he should be the one to beat.

Please be advised that jockey Denis Schwarz is not riding today.
