Sir Michael Stoute-trained Estimate, owned by HRH Queen Elizabeth II, returned a positive test after finishing second in the Ascot Gold Cup. Initial indications are that the positive test resulted from the consumption of a contaminated feed product.
Estimate provided a highpoint of the UK Flat season when winning the Gold Cup and her owner was delighted to accept the Cartier Stayer Award.
