Big Race Bert – A Tribute

There is a memorial service at Greyville’s Saddlers’ Arms starting at 1pm on Thursday, open to everyone who would like to share in celebrating Bert’s life.

Dennis Drier: “His big race temperament was just unbelievable, I mean unbelievable. He was never ever worried or nervous going into a feature race and I think that was his biggest asset. He was a great jockey.”
