Some excellent racing on Sunday and while only a small field will head to the start for race 9, the Open Stakes mile looks an even affair and a tough one for punters.
A rare August feature with the running of the Causeway Classic and the Group 3 race certainly brightens an otherwise standard fare of Poly and turf racing.
Beyond the pending investigations, things ended well enough for the Bass-Robinson yard when the improving Rainbow Lorikeet stamped her Paddock Stakes prospects with a gutsy victory under a top-notch ride by Aldo Domeyer
