King Of Pain earned a crack at the Vodacom Durban July in the closing stages of the Magnum Mile on Saturday, writes Michael Clower.
The enigmatic King Of Pain gets another opportunity to redeem his reputation in the Magnum Mile on the UCT Rag race day at Kenilworth on Saturday.
I first had the opportunity to appraise Jonathan Snaith up close in the run up to the 2011 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate. I was pretty impressed.
The UCT RAG race day has been revived in the inaugural running of the 2014 Magnum Mile at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday. There is still place to grab your place in the sun with the temperature in Cape Town forecast in the mid thirties!
The tongue-twistingly named sprinter was bred and is owned in South Africa, trained by a US-based Brit and will be ridden by a French-based Belgian
