Churchill Downs Incorporated has announced its decision to reschedule the 146th Longines Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve
The 144th running of the Kentucky Derby is the centerpiece of a weekend-long festival of top-shelf racing at Churchill Downs that also features the winners of last year’s Derby and Kentucky Oaks
She got into a great stride and relaxed. She is magnificent. I wasn’t worried about the post (outside 13) like some people were. They take their time with this filly and she is just maturing. She is moving forward all the time and she was perfect today.
Friday, 2 May 2014 will see the 140th running of the Gr1 Longines Kentucky Oaks under the twin spires of Churchill Downs. The contest is open to 3yo fillies and held over 1 1/8 miles (1800m) at level weights of 55kg
