Are You Ready For This?

The TAB Satellite championship tournament will be held on Saturday 16 February at Turffontein. Have you got what it takes?

Phumelela’s Clyde Basel advised that interest in the competition had been unprecedented and said it was a natural progression to their two highly successful previous punting tournaments to date.

The first was the mega TAB tournament where R500 000 was won, and this competition is a role out of the Satellite championships with the intention of having another mega tournament sometime in May. The total entry fee to the Tournament is R 11 000 per punter. Syndicates are welcome.

This is a once-off, single day tote betting tournament taking place at Turffontein Racecourse on Saturday. The Buy in fee is R10 000 plus R1 000 entry fee per person and entrants must be present at Turffontein Racecourse during the course of the event.

Entrants will be required to present themselves at the venue at least one hour prior to the official off-time of the first race to be run at Turffontein on the day and will be required to remain present in the venue until the completion of the tournament following the last race at Turffontein on that day or until such time as they are eliminated.

Each entrant will be credited with R6 000 with which to bet during the day and 1st place will receive 65% of the prize pool, 2nd place will receive 25% of the prize pool and 3rd place will receive 10% of the prize pool.

Of the entrance fee, R 4,000  will be allocated to the Winner’s Pool, from which the Tournament prizes are paid. The balance of R 6,000 (Six Thousand Rand) (initial betting balance) shall be utilized as a betting fund during the day to determine the overall winner.

R 1,000 (One Thousand Rand) of the R6,000 (Six Thousand Rand)of each punter’s initial betting balance must be wagered on one or more Exotic Bet/s ( these are limited to Place Accumulator, Pick Six and Jackpot).

Each Punter must wager a minimum of R 400 (Four Hundred Rand) on all of races 1 to 9. The remaining R1400 may be used at the player’s discretion provided it forms part of the nine  races and is not bet on an exotic bet.

The field is reserved for the first forty confirmed entries. Full details and entry forms are available on www.tabonline.co.za or contact 011 6811500 for more information.
