Breeders’ Cup Betting Bonanza

Guaranteed $2-million Jackpot pool

TAB customers will be able to bet into mega Pick 6 and Jackpot pools when Breeders’ Cup 2020 is run at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington Kentucky in the USA this, including a guaranteed $2-million Jackpot pool.

Today the headline $6-million Longines Classic will close the two-day spectacular.

There are 10 runners for the Classic over 2000m on dirt with trainer Bob Baffert’s chestnut charge Improbable, winner of the Grade 1 Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes, the current favourite.

TAB will commingle Win, Place, Exacta, Rolling Double and Pick 3 pools with the host tote, as well as Jackpot and Pick 6 pools.

There will be three Jackpots and a Pick 6 on the Friday, including a Breeders’ Cup Jackpot on Races 7 to 10 with a guaranteed $1-million pool.

Saturday’s betting menu features four Jackpot or Pick 4 pools, including a guaranteed $2-million pool on races 9 to 12 and a guaranteed $1-million Pick 6 pool on Races 7 to 12.

The unit of betting for all commingled pools will be R16 except the Pick 3 and Jackpot for which the unit will be R8.

Both racedays will be televised live on Tellytrack with the first race at 18:30 on Friday and 17:15 on Saturday.

TAB will operate local Swinger, Trifecta and Quartet pools as well as a Place Accumulator on both race meetings.
