The powerful stable of Justin Snaith send out Crown Towers in the Listed WSB Sledgehammer.

He was impressive when winning his last start over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Camelot is in a good space and should take a power of beating.

Flashy Kaitrina from the Kumaran Naidoo stable could close off the meeting. She was not disgraced when finishing fourth in the Listed Kwa-Zulu Natal Stakes last time.

The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

She drops in class today and Anton Marcus may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

The false rail is set at 6m.
