Hollywoodbets Scottsville Today

The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 13h55

KZN plays host today to a nine-race programme which honours one of the greatest South African jockeys of all time, Michael ‘Muis’ Roberts.

Race 7 is the Listed Michael Roberts Handicap which is over 1750m for a stake of R85000.

The first race is due off at 12h10.

The stable of Robbie and Shannon Hill send out Flymefree in Race 3 on the card. She ran a good race when finishing second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville, four weeks ago.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The daughter of Flying The Flag makes her course debut and does not meet the strongest field. The blinkers remain fitted and she can go one better here.

Sanctity takes his place in Race 2, which is the start of the Bipot. He showed some improvement in his last start over this course and distance.

The manner in which he ran on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of Var is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.

Serino Moodley steps back into the saddle and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

The false rail is at 4,5m.

  • The Bipot starts in the second at 12h45
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third at 13h20
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 13h55
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth race at 14h30
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the sixth race at 15h05

A reminder that the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge, with R1 075 000 up for grabs, closes at 12h05.
