Jimmy The Rich writes that Tony Rivalland saddles Tristful in Race 5. He ran a decent race when finishing third over 1600m on this course last time.

His penultimate run when finishing 3.7 lengths behind Jet Dark in the G1 HKJC World Pools Champions Cup catches the eye.

It is encouraging that the cheekpieces have been re-fitted and that Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle. If not in need of the run, he should take a power of beating.

Run To Denmark from the Andre Nel stable represents decent each way value in Race 4.

He is much better than his last start suggests as he was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since.

He has won once and finished third twice from four starts over this distance.

The 6yo gelding takes a drop in class and should be cherry-ripe. If switching off early, he can return to winning ways.
