Jimmy The Rich writes that Tuk Tuk from the in-form Peter Muscutt stable could give punters a good start to the day in Race 1. He produced an eye-catching debut effort over this distance on the polytrack, two weeks ago.

The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day suggests that he has some class about him.

The son of Trippi would have gained from the experience and may be better suited to the turf.

With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

Dennis Drier saddles Jacqueline in Race 6. She finished 3.75 lengths behind Top Me Up Holly last time.

She is 6.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she should not have any issues with the 2200m. The 6yo mare jumps from pole position and may be the one to cause the upset.
