Jimmy The Rich writes that trainer Gareth van Zyl saddles Bay Breeze in Race 3. She raced from a handy position in her last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

She raced from a handy position that day, but was outrun in the latter stages.

The daughter of Oratorio will love the step up to the 1900m. S’manga Khumalo steps back into the saddle and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

Bingin Beach – big runner in the second race today (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Bingin Beach from the Gavin van Zyl takes her place in Race 2. She followed up her maiden win with a decent fourth-place finish over this distance on the polytrack.

She was slow into stride that day, but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging.

The daughter of Elusive Fort should strip a much fitter horse this afternoon and with just 52.5kgs on her back, she may be the one to side with.

The false rail is set at 4m.

Lance Pagel will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.
