“He’s just a real racehorse,” said an elated trainer Darren Weir of Cliff’s Edge, who was having his first start since the spring over 1200m.

Weir has the Sydney carnival in his sights with Cliff’s Edge, who he believes is best at 2000m. The Rosehill Guineas (2000m) is another race on the radar.

Cliff’s Edge won the Gr3 Caulfield Classic (2000m) last spring and was second in The Vase.

He has earned A$625 560 with his 5 wins and 3 seconds from 11 starts and has proven great value for his A$60 000 purchase by his trainer off the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
