Lockdown Day 45 – A Mother’s Day Snap Puzzle

Here's a toast to all the Mums out there

Yesterday’s puzzle was another victory for poster Billy, who correctly found Northern Dancer winning the 1964 Kentucky Derby in a new Kentucky Derby record time.

He was the first Canadian horse to win the race and was inducted into their Hall Of Fame in 1965.

A sire of sires, his impact is still felt today.

Our Mother’s Day puzzle is of a more modern race.

Who is the winner – what race? Name the rider – what was his unique connection to the winner?

Answer tomorrow morning, as usual!
