Spanish La Liga: Injury Woes For Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid gear up for Valencia clash

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham remains side-lined, intensifying concerns about his availability for the Mestalla showdown against Valencia on Saturday.

Despite progressing according to the outlined plans, the English midfielder, who sustained an ankle injury during the clash with Girona (where he netted two goals), continues his dedicated recovery outside the squad.

This situation casts doubt on his participation in a high stake La Liga encounter with just one training session before the match.

According to a report by MARCA, the Madrid coaching staff eagerly await Bellingham’s return but have grown accustomed to managing a considerable number of absentees in each game due to injury concerns.

Reflecting on the previous match, Real Madrid see the return of two pivotal players, Dani Carvajal and Eduardo Camavinga, who were suspended in the weekend duel against Sevilla.

This development reduces the number of absentees from seven to five, with Bellingham seemingly on the brink of exclusion.

However, the absence of Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois, Joselu and David Alaba persists without a confirmed return date.

While Courtois is anticipated to make a comeback in April, Joselu eyes a return in two weeks following an ankle injury.

Despite these setbacks, the remainder of the squad is in optimal condition, diligently preparing for the Valencia clash through a tactical training session.

As Madrid navigate the challenges posed by injuries, the return of key players injects a dose of optimism, emphasizing the team’s resilience in the face of adversity.
