Son Of Raj To Impress Today?

The first race at Hollywoodbets Greyville is off at 12h30

Eight races are scheduled at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the polytrack this afternoon.

The free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge gives you the chance to win R2 million if you tip all eight winners on the card.

The first is due off at 12h30.

After saddling a winner yesterday, Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Peter Muscutt sends out Son Of Raj in Race 5. He produced a promising debut effort over 1400m on this course.

He lost a length at the start, but the manner in which he finished off his race that day caught the eye.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Duke Of Marmalade would have come on from the run and will love the rise to the mile.

With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

Priceless Ruler from the Dennis Drier yard may be the horse to close off the meeting. He is better than his last start suggests as he was reported to be coughing post-race.

The 13-week break may have done him the world of good. He is unbeaten from three starts over this course and distance and from pole position, he can keep that record intact.

Please note that S Veale will not be riding today.
