Snaith Warns Of Met Day ‘Rockets’

Defending champion trainer hopes to rattle favourite

Eight years ago, a colleague renamed it Snaith Day. Justin cleaned up with 8 winners from his 34 runners on that memorable Met day in 2016. He also conceded that he would have sacrificed all 8 to win the Met.

Fast forward to 2024 and the man who admitted in Saturday’s tenth race interview, tongue-in-cheek naturally, that he is not as good as Mike de Kock or Brett Crawford, and has to work a little harder than they do, brings 38 runners to Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.

He has also won the World Sports Betting Cape Town Met twice since and saddles a powerhouse quintet in Saturday’s World Pool headliner thirteen horse field.

Watch this entertaining insight:

With the Pick 6 pool set to reach R10 million, the big race quartet R4 million,  and the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge likely to offer an estimated *R3 Million Jackpot prize for selecting all the winners on the day, as well as a massive *R200 000 for placing in the Top 50 on the leaderboard and a must-be-won prize of *R200 000 for the punter/s who selects the most winners on the day, there is plenty to look forward to. *Terms and conditions apply.
