Snaith Runner Scratched From World Sports Betting Cape Town Met

Big race off at 16h45 today

Justin Snaith’s Mucho Dinero, pictured above, has unfortunately been withdrawn from today’s R2 million World Sports Betting Gr1 Cape Town Met after pulling up lame on his off-fore knee.

“I have made a decision to withdraw him from the WSB Cape Met as he would not run to his true form. I will x-ray the knee and he will be rested immediately at Mike Stewart for three weeks before embarking on a KwaZulu-Natal campaign,” Justin Snaith told the Sporting Post.

The withdrawal reduces the field to eleven runners, after Bless My Stars was withdrawn in midweek due to travel restrictions.

A deduction of 10% will apply to winning bets struck prior to the scratching. Official scratching time is 08h16.
