The Snaith racing team send out two runners for the Jonsson Workwear Cape Derby at Kenilworth on Saturday to keep things ‘in the family’.
In 2014, Snaith Racing won the Vodacom Durban July with the handsome Legislate.
The son of Dynasty subsequently stood at stud but only covered a small book each year due to fertility issues.
However, what he has sired has been of high quality and is represented here by his son, Hoedspruit. But the story gets even better, as Legislate’s full brother and second favourite The Gatekeeper, lines up in the race as well.
