De Kock family team effort

Arlington’s Revenge, owned by Mike de Kock and his daughter Kirsten, won at the Vaal last Thursday.

Lyle Hewitson’s better half, work rider Hannah Runnalls, sporting Kirsten’s blue and green silks, did the honours.

Diane de Kock named the 3yo after she and Kirsten attended the 2013 Gr1 Arlington Million in which The Apache lost in the boardroom after winning the prized race.

The De Kocks were naturally emotional after the race and it was one of those days they’d never forget. When the chance came to acquire a son of The Apache, this was an ideal opportunity to name him!
