It has been well over a week since senior jockey Anton Marcus called for a thinktank on our starting stall procedures after hair-raising moments at the gates on a short-priced favourite.
Champion jockey Anthony Delpech made the same plea a few weeks earlier.
The National Horseracing Authority seem oblivious to any issues and have not responded or commented.
But who cares? It’s only punter’s money and horse and rider safety on the line.
What will it take to get some constructive action out of the National Horseracing Authority?
