Day 2 of the Sporting Post’s 30th birthday giveaway competition produced just a single winner between Hollywoodbets Durbanville and Turffontein on Saturday.

Shane Subramoney wins a R1 000 Hollywoodbets betting voucher!

The Turffontein third race was the first Quartet target race and the tote favourite Dance King duly arrived for the Marwing family. Clear The Path (25-2) was back in second, while the tricky-to-find Gamer (33-1) was third, ahead of RoberT Browning (10-1) who looked dangerous before fading late.

The quartet 5-4-2-6 paid R1418. While a number of readers found the winner, the placed runners were tougher nuts to crack!

The Hollywoodbets Durbanville seventh race, the second target race of the afternoon, produced an eye-catching victory for the Adam Marcus-trained Oliver, who made it three on the trot under Grant van Niekerk.

Rosh Kedesh stayed on into second, ahead of Willie John and Aspect.

The quartet 9-2-6-4 paid R2173-70, and well done again to Shane Subramoney for getting closest to the pin!

We have more Hollywoodbets betting vouchers up for grabs again at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday.

The first is off at 12h35.
