The switch of today’s KZN racemeeting to Hollywoodbets Greyville has thrown something of a curved ball into the field of play for Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge players.
The two KZN racetracks are very different playing surfaces and any form study will have to be strictly revised!

One man who hopes to ‘hit them hard’ today is former Tellytrack presenter Shaheen Shaw, who has become a serious Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge player.
He labelled the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge highly enjoyable after Friday’s meeting.
“Absolutely free, and you can win good money for nothing!” he said enthusiastically.
Shaheen was busy with other commitments, so used his vast knowledge to ‘wing it’ on Friday.
“Tried the Hollywood Punters’ Challenge, today. Did Clocking The Gallop show for Kenilworth, so no time to study Hollywoodbets Greyville. However, I gave it a go. Complete ‘tata ma chance’. Guesswork resulted in a cracking start,” he recalls.
His report on his progress:
“Race 1: Prince Tyrion (4th) – not good, however…Race 2: Double Gemini – WON (I’m a “Gemini”) ????…Race 3: Que for You – WON (thought of the earlier “queue” at the gate) ????.”
He says that at that stage he was positioned 38th of 5498 players.
“Honestly, I was starting to have visions of grandeur… Thereafter, races 4 to 8 – not a PLACE! Stopped to nothing, and ended up a DISTANCE… Fourteen hundreth and whateva! Enjoyed it though. But don’t think picking them on names is a good strategy – will study next time,” he reflected with a twinkle in his eye.

It is simple and requires a player to pick one horse for each race on the card, and submit all their picks 5 minutes before the first race.
Players receive points depending on where their selection finishes in a race, and how many actual runners there are in a race.
