Seven Races Under The Summer Sun

Bipot and PA both start in first race

On a feature-free weekend, Hollywoodbets Kenilworth is the local standalone meeting today and seven races are carded under what will be a continuation of 30 degree plus weather experienced in the region over the past few days.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 13h15.

There are only seven races on the card and the first hails the opening of both the Bipot and the Place Accumulator.

Aldo Domeyer enjoyed a lightning raid on Fairview to deputise for Richard Fourie on Friday and he rides Go Like Flo for the Andre Nel stable in the second race.

She looks the best bet on the card. She has produced three good efforts to date, the latest of which was over this course and distance.

She ran on well last time, fought hard but found one too good in the form of La Pura Vida. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and in this line-up, she should shed her maiden tag.

Trainer Brett Crawford saddles Miss Greenlight in Race 5. She ran a fair race when fourth in the Okapi Ladies International last time.

She cast a shoe in running and it must be noted that multiple horses from the form line have come out and won since. She has won twice and finished second once from five starts over this course and distance.

Luyolo Mxothwa steps back into the saddle and on best form shown, she is capable of returning to winning ways.

Jockey Denis Schwarz is not riding today.
