The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 14h10

After being postponed by a week due to rain, the first leg of the World Sports Betting Triple Crown and Wilgerbosdrift Triple Tiara has arrived.

With a R1 million carryover in the Pick 6, the estimated pool is R5 million. There are three feature races on the day including the Grade 2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas, the Grade 2 World Sports Betting Gauteng Guineas and the Grade 3 Wilgerbosdrift Tommy Hotspur Handicap.

Jimmy The Rich writes Zimbaba from the Sean Tarry stable looks to be the likely Pick 6 banker in Race 9.

She was ultra-impressive when winning the Listed Swallow Stakes over 1160m in soft going.

It must be noted that Rapid Fire who finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She meets a similar type of field today and should take a power of beating.

Trainer Dorrie Sham sends out Sell High in Race 5 for owner John Finlayson. He finished 0.4 lengths behind Apollo Robbins last time.

He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He was reported to have got cut into on his left hind leg that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging. He has a good record over this distance and can notch up his fifth career victory.

The false rail is zero on the back straight to 5m on the bend with a 5m spur at the 700m mark.
